I enjoyed my last stay in Florence in a particular way because I was lucky to find a very charming apartment in a part of the city which is not overcrowded by tourists but a handycraft and arts oirientated area near Palazzo Pitti and its marvellous park. I felt myself immediately " at home " which is a rare quality if you travel a lot. Cristina, the proprietary, is a warmhearted and generous lady who gives you lots of interesting advice how to explore Florence and its surroundings. In the perfectly equipped apartment you will find a huge number of books leading you through Tuscany, its landscape and culture. Elisabeth

Hi Martino, Yes, we stayed at the Chiesa 2 for the month of May. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment itself was a nice size, it was very clean, had everything we needed, and we found that it was in a great location. In addition Christina, the landlord, was gracious and most helpful. We found the spacious one-bedroom apartment, recently remodeled with a classic Tuscan design, to be very charming and comfortable The appliances and furnishings are all rather new and function very well. There was plenty of room for my wife, young daughter and myself. When I consider the great condition of the apartment, its ideal central location, and the reasonable price, I would say that we found ourselves a great deal. We have traveled throughout Italy quite a bit, staying in a number of hotels and apartment rentals - this, by far, was our best renting experience of all.

Very nice apartment. Good location. Crossing the Ponte Vecchio to get to the central museums always adds a special element to the walk. Apartment is near little shops of all kinds. Easy to shop for food and wine. I like the nearby market at Santo Spirito. The apartment kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Good roomy bet for us tall people. Comment: I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful apartment. It was wonderful to stay away from the "touristy" part of town, but still be within walking distance to the museums,etc. The apt. seemed bigger to me than the pictures I saw on the net. The local restaurants were wonderful and it was easy to use the bus system to get around the city. Christina was so helpful with last minute museum tickets, cell phone rental and any other details that concerned me. She was so pleasant and willing to help. I had a great time in Florence and I would highly recommend this apt.

I've studied in Florence five years ago and decided to have a reunion with my friends i met in Florence, so i've rented the Chiesa 1and the Chiesa 2 Apartment. From my previous experience, these apartments are the most clean, spacious, comfortable and the location is perfect! We couldn't ask for a better accomodation in Florence. I was so happy that my friends loved the choice i've made and we decided that every time we return to Florence we will definately rent the same apartments. Grazie per tutto Cristina!!! A beautiful apartment - the photo on the website doesn't do it justice (at time of writing, it shows the very ordinary kitchen, whereas the rest is a beautifully renovated apartment). I can vouch for the comfort of the sofabed. Nice bathroom with a big shower and a nice big main bedroom; plenty of room to sit and eat at a proper dining room table. The distict was a perfect wandering distance from the heart of Florence. There is an excellent restaurant, recommended by Cristina, within 7-8 minutes' walk - Cristina can give details. Our only issue was noise from the very successful local bar. For heavy sleepers it's not a problem, but for light sleepers, earplugs and a grappa before bed are recommended. Everything was very efficient and well organised and I would definitely go back. !

We stayed in both Chiesa 1and Chiesa 2. These apartments were perfect for us--family of 8. We highly recommend either of these units. They were spacious, clean, very well appointed and within walking distance to everything. We loved it. Thanks Christina!

In comparison to other apartments we have rented in Paris and Rome, yours is by far the nicest: larger, cleaner, better furniture and wonderfull " atmosphere ". It is also well located. Of course the noise in the bar at the corner on fridays´and saturdays´nights were part of the fun and rarely unbearable. Nice support when needed from the part of the owners. Arthur
