My husband and I had a delightful experience during our week in Chiesa 1. Martino was quite helpful during the booking process. Several times before we had stayed at another InFlorence apartment and at first were disappointed that it was not available during our January 2009 return to Florence. However, we found Chiesa 1 clean, comfortable, attractively furnished, and well suited our needs. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking all our meals. The San Spirito neighborhood is friendly, safe, and has a lovely farmer's market as well as excellent small shops for food. We walked to and from both the train station and Florence's tourist attractions and yet had the pleasure of living in a real neighborhood away from the tourist hordes. Christina made special efforts to assure not only a warm welcome and our physical comfort, but provided much helpful additional information. She gave us her phone number and responded quickly and most warmly to our questions with either a return call or a visit. Our only problem was beyond her control and might not bother others: noise from a nearby bar/cafe on two nights. There was no loud music and folks were neither rowdy nor boisterous; they were just friends laughing, talking, and enjoying one another's company until about midnight. Certainly nothing to complain about, but light sleepers who retire early might want to pack earplugs.

Everything was great. The only problem was the noise from the bar below us. They would stay open until 2-3 am every night and this is not something that any renter would know about it. Without that noise the apartment would have been perfect.

Comment: DOur stay in FLORENCE was fabulous and the big,comfortable,wonderful apartment added much to the experience...I was alittle apprehensive not really knowing what the apartment was really like(the net dose'nt really give you the true picture). It was awesome. It is located in the best part of FLORENCE, where the real people of FLORENCE live. Great places to eat within a few blocks, museums, shopping...damn i wish i was there! We also had our son and his friend with us and they did some traveling throughout EUROPE and thought the apartment was the best.(they are teenagers so i did'nt think they cared so much but they both loved the place)... Christina was so very helpful and down to earth, easy to deal with...We hope we have the good fortune of staying there in the future,we just simply loved it!

Comment: We are back in New Orleans! we all loved firenze and loved the apartment. It is magnifico!!! anyway, the location of the apartment really added to the trip. we felt like we were in a typical residential setting, away from the tourists. also we loved having our morning machiatto with Lola and Mauricio across the street. they are very nice, we intend to return to Firenze again for a longer time, perhaps 2 weeks, and will be contacting you for the apartment. grazie grazie ciao ciao, Barry and Marciann, Abbey and Ari

I've studied in Florence five years ago and decided to have a reunion with my friends i met in Florence, so i've rented the Chiesa 1and the Chiesa 2 Apartment. From my previous experience, these apartments are the most clean, spacious, comfortable and the location is perfect! We couldn't ask for a better accomodation in Florence. I was so happy that my friends loved the choice i've made and we decided that every time we return to Florence we will definately rent the same apartments. Grazie per tutto Cristina!!! We stayed in both Chiesa 1and Chiesa 2. These apartments were perfect for us--family of 8. We highly recommend either of these units. They were spacious, clean, very well appointed and within walking distance to everything. We loved it. Thanks Christina!

I really loved my stay at Chiesa 1. The house is perfectly located, close to the city centre, but still in a local neighbourhood with few tourist. That gives a feel of real, florentine life. High standard, all amenities worked well, but still in a house from the 16th century with a nice feel of history about it. We will return to Florence some day, I´m convinced of that, and will be hoping to live in this great apartment again. Stein Sneve

The apartment was much bigger then we expected even from the pictures. It was clean and spacious and has everything you might need (including pots, dishes, a refrigerator and a French press for coffee). It is a short and scenic walk from anywhere you would like to be in Florence and very close to the Palazo Pitti. It is a few minutes walk to many restaurants, bars and cafes. Christina is incredibly helpful with everything from directions and suggestions to replacing a light bulb. She is available whenever you need them. Cosimo was at our apartment to greet us when we arrived and he was helpful with our luggage and showing us around, Christina arrived a short while later and they could not have been more accommodating. I have only wonderful things to say about our experience in this apartment and working with Christina. We will stay there the next time we are in Florence as well and have recommended it to all of our friends.

I'm Régine Prat from France. On Easter 2004 we spent a week in Florence with my family and enjoyed the situation of the apartement in a very central place, and nice environement. The apartemnt itself is very convenient with comfortable furniture and disposition (large shower, good beds ..).It's easy to come back home for a lunch and a rest moment before running out for a new vistt of the city!

Thank you for your email regarding the books, but its not necessary to send us these books, we had finished reading them and thought someone else might enjoy reading them as well and therefore left them for another guest at the apartment. Yes we had a very nice stay in Florence, thank you for your hospitality, we will be returning as we love Florence and were very happy with the accommodation and will also be recommending your apartment to our friends.
