Dear Martino and Eleonora, We had a lovely time in the Panorama apartment! We would like to thank the owner (Francesco?) for the kind gift of a bottle of wine for our Honeymoon. The setting and the condition of the apartment were just what we needed. I particularly was keen to cook and the kitchen was well appointed for that. The views from the terrace were lovely and it was so quiet, considering how near to the centre we were. Being so close to Robiglios helped, as I frequented that 10 years ago whilst working for the Maggio Musicale. The welcome we received was warm and helpful and we felt very well looked after and happy. Hope to revisit it soon! All the best, Robert Howarth |

Dear Martino: We had a lovely time in the Panorama apartment. The location was ideal, close to the center but very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the place was quite spacious. We loved spending time on the terrace. What a beautiful view; always changing at different times of day. The only thing we would change was the mattress, which made odd crunching noises when you move. If we could, we'd be back tomorrow, but the wait will have to be a bit longer than that. |

Dear Martino
It's been a few weeks since our return from overseas but it's been very busy so apologies for the delay in providing feedback.
We enjoyed our week in Florence staying at Panorama very much. Looking at your website again today, I think the apartment is in one of the best locations, always easy to find your way home as long as you can spot the Duomo. The flat is well equipped and very comfortable - we particularly loved the little terrace with its magnificent views. We spent a lot of time out there.
It was unseasonally hot in Florence that week so while we were relieved to have a small air conditioner in the bedroom, the apartment was quite warm being on the top floor. We were travelling with our adult daughter and as she was sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area, we needed to keep our door open to share the aircon.
If it had been just the two of us, Panorama would have been perfect - as it was, it was almost perfect! Great place.

Dear Martino
We arrived back home earlier this afternoon and I wanted to write to say what a wonderful time we had staying in Panorama for the last 8 days. The apartment was absolutely delightful, very homely. And the location was perfect -so close to all the sights but also away from the crowds and bustle. As we were very lucky and had better than expected weather for April, we really enjoyed sunning ourselves on the terrace with a bottle of chianti most evenings.
We will definitely be recommending Panorama to friends visiting Florence too.
Thanks again to you and Francesco.

Dear Martino
* I'm not a member of Face book, but I'm more than happy to list a few comments following our stay at Panorama apartment:
*
* The apartment was:
*
* In an excellent location near to a magnificent church.."The SS. Annunziata" and a stroll away from the Duomo. An excellent ice cream parlour (just established when we visited Panorama) 2 mins from apartment on the way to the Duoma.
*
* Fantastic views from the roof top terrace across Florence and especially of the Duomo dome.
*
* Option to eat out on the terrace ( which we did every day), or in the separate kitchen diner. I'm not sure whether the chimney flues would affect eating outside in winter.
*
* Well appointed lounge and bedroom. However, the kitchen and bathroom both need updating, though this did not spoil our stay and we would consider the apartment again if staying in Florence.
*
* Friendly greeting on arrival by the owner. |

Dear Martino, Here's our comment : This apartment is in the perfect position - on a quiet street, a few minutes away from the Duomo. The balcony gives the loveliest views over the old city and towards the Duomo - a lovely place to eat in the morning and when the sun goes down. The apartment hand over was smoothly done, we felt instantly welcome and at home, as our hosts were so charming. Best wishes, Simon and Sand |

My wife and I have just spent a most enjoyable month of March at this ideally situated, spacious, comfortable and well appointed apartment.
Where else could you enjoy spectacular 180 deg. vista from the balcony of typically Italian homes and apartments together with the surrounding hills and even glimpses of the snow capped Alps. At night, in the sitting room, a close up view of one of the world's most recognisable pieces of architecture- "Il Duomo". We went to London for 3 days and Francesco very kindly offered to turn the gas heating off in order to save us that cost. Needless to say we will be keen to return. |

Martino,
From the minute we arrived, Paul and I felt at home. Francesco was a
charming host and did a wonderful job showing us around the apartment
and explaining how things worked. The Panorama apartment was perfectly
located - we walked everywhere! We enjoyed many breakfasts on the
terrace, relaxed after long days of site seeing, and Paul's daughter,
Katie, and her roommates made us a wonderful Italian dinner with produce
fresh from the local market. We would definitely recommend the
apartment and hope to visit again.
Sincerely,
Laura |

Dear Martino,
We were delighted with the apartment. The weather was such that we had the air
conditioning on at the beginning of the week and the central heating at the end! Where
else can you overlook Brunelleschi's Rotunda from the dining room? We enjoyed evening
meals on the terrace with wonderful views - cooking facilities more than adequate. All
the sights of Florence were so close and convenient but the situation was very quiet.

Dear Martino
My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful time at the Panorama. Francisco met
us at the flat and showed us around. The flat was very comfortable despite
the hot weather at the time, and the little balcony was a wonderful place to
survey the skyline. We found ourselves out there at the start of the day as
we planned our activities, and at the end of the day we watched the light
fade over the domes and spires of Florence, often with a good glass of local
red. The apartment was well equipped and well located only a few hundred
metres from the Academia and San Marco, and within easy walking distance of
all the main sites. Our hosts were very helpful - we accidentally left our
camera and had to drive back to Florence to pick it up. Francesco and
Martino drove to an autostrada exit to meet us so we would not have to drive
into Florence. This was greatly appreciated because it was only my second
day of driving on the right hand side of the road and was having enough
trouble just with the autostrada. There was a lift, but we still had to
walk a short flight of stairs, which was not a problem at all. We would
stay again and would recommend Panorama to others.
Best regards

We very much enjoyed the apartment as a quiet escape from the tourist crush just a few blocks away in the city center. Ending each evening on the terrace with a glass of wine and the city at our feet was a
remarkable experience.
I also can't thank Francesco enough for his hospitality.
If we're in Florence again, we'll be staying here.
Regards,
Kimber & Amy |

Dear Martino
Thank you for arranging our stay at Panorama 13th-20th - it was excellent (apart from the shower!) and Francesco Laverone couldn't have been nicer. I might be interested in taking the flat again for something like ............... October this year. Could you let me know if it is likely to be free and what the cost would be.
Many thanks
Bridget
