I stayed in the Borgo Pinti apartment from October 13, 2007 until November 10, 2007. It was a wonderful experience in every way. The location of the apartment was excellent, convenient to museums and sites. The kitchen was fully equipped in every way. The decor was comfortable and most attractively appointed. I would definitely recommend Borgo Pinti to anyone and would not hesitate to book a stay again there in the future. We needed to call Lorenzo when we first arrived due to a problem with the hot water. He was very responsive and arranged to correct the problem as soon as possible. He was also very helpful in arranging cleaning help.

Dear Martino Over the years we have travelled a great deal, prefering to live in houses or apartments rather than hotels. I have to say that Borgo Pinto is the most beautiful apartment in which we have stayed ! The contact prior to arrival was great and reasuring, as was being met at the house by two very pleasant individuals - we even got some more good recommendations for nearby restaurants that turned out to be great! What an experience, joy and honour to be staying in such an old and beautifully restored apartment. It 'ached' with Tuscan beauty and history. Not only was it beautiful but every detail had been considered and everything was of the utmost quality and style. When booking I was a little concerned that being so close to the Duomo we may find it noisy but that was certainly not the case. The two bedrooms are well insulated from the outside world!! The layout meant that staying with two teenagers was easy, as they shut their door to their bedroom and bathroom we could almost have believed we were alone!! A real find and I am telling all my friends!! We will certainly be back to stay in Borgo Pinti. Many thanks - you helped us make the first part of our holiday something very memorable indeed. Martino, The apartment was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed basing our trip out of there. Please apologize again to Elisa for us as we arrived so very late and she was a great sport to wait patiently for us. We very much appreciated her kindness. You as well were very helpful. Having this nice apartment just enhanced our wonderful time in your most interesting and beautiful country. Best regards, Todd Novaczyk

We have just returned from our travels and would like to say that the apartment in Florence was superb. It was a great pleasure to meet Lorenzo and we were extremely impressed with the renovations that have been done to the apartment. We were very comfortable and thought the apartment spacious, the a/c effective, and bathrooms very nice. The kitchen was small but very functional. In all very charming and we hope to be back!! Thank you for your wonderful home! Lonny Rimel and Joe Calabrese PS (The key for the bottom stairwell gate didn't work)

Hi Martino Thankyou for your e mail. We had a great week in Florence and really enjoyed staying in the apartment. We found it comfortable, clean and well equipped and in an excellent location for visiting all the sites. The owner of the apartment, Lorenzo, was very friendly and informative and told us a lot about the apartments history which was very interesting. We would recommend staying in the Borgo Pinti apartment and the services of yourself and Lorenzo. With Regards, Jill and Jeremy Griffin

Dear Martino, My family and I visited Italy this past summer, staying in the Borgo Pinti apartment. Although long overdue, I just wanted to tell you what a great experience it was. My husband, daughter, and I could not have been more pleased when we arrived at the apartment. So many times lodgings look so much better in pictures, but the Borgo Pinti was even better and more spacious than we expected. We were met there by Lorenzo, who could not have been more helpful. He had put bottles of water, fresh fruit, and wine there for us, and was incredibly kind and gracious. We were a little worried about booking an apartment online, but our experience could not have been any better. Both the apartment and its location were great, and we would not hesitate to rent from you in the future. We loved Italy and cannot wait to travel there again. Feel free to post this email on your website if you have a page for comments. Once again, i apologize for taking so long to thank you for the wonderful accomodations. Patsy Maldonado

Caro Signor Bruni! My apologies for not having written sooner to thank you. Believe me, I only hesitated because returning from beautiful Florence has made me sad! My friend and I had a most wonderful stay at the apartment in Borgo Pinti. It was beautifully furnished with comfortable sofa, chairs, and beds. Gorgeous frescoes covered the ceiling and doors. The photo on your website was not only accurate, but the apartment was even more beautiful in real life! It was tidy and clean and the kitchen afforded us everything we needed for ourselves and guests. Lorenzo was prompt meeting us with keys, phone, etc. and made the check-in process easy and welcoming. Being the architect who renovated the apartment, he was able to provide us with many interesting details about the history of the building. And thank you, Mr. Bruni, for your timely and consistently attentive consideration. I have but two suggestions that might make this wonderful place even better. In the bedroom with single beds it would be good to have some sort of desk or small dressing table to be able to lay out one's jewelry, makeup, etc. (I used the other single bed for this purpose) It would be very helpful to have internet access in the apartment. High speed access is not that uncommon these days and really quite affordable. It would be a great thing for people like me who need to do a little work or even want to look up schedules for events listed on posters around town that note a web address. I found myself running up and downstairs to the local Internet cafe quite often. We tried to leave the apartment as we found it, but I forgot to tell Lorenzo, that the first glass I picked up from the cupboard was severely broken on its edge. I nearly cut my lip on it. Perhaps the people who clean could be a tad more thorough in inspecting the glass-ware. I left it on top of the cupboard where he could see it and discard it. But, of course, these things I mention were minor inconveniences. As I say, the apartment was lovely and we would certainly stay there again if available. Also, I'd be happy to recommend your services to anyone interested. Sincerely, Judy Tate
