The Catignano Estate is made up of "The Villa" and "The Farm" and is situated about 8 km. from Siena in the Chianti Region (please click here for more details on location and direction on how to get there).

The Villa and Fattoria are two buildings intimately linked and form part of one single structure. In the past the Villa was exclusively intended as the home of the Sergardi family while the Farm was principally used for the production of Classic Chianti wine and olive oil.

Today both the Villa and the Fattoria offer the best hospitality. The Villa has been converted in 7 stunning apartments and the Fattoria has been divided into 4 cosy cottages with their own little gardens and 3 apartments.

The building, settled in the luscious green tuscan countryside, is framed by the “italian garden” and the so called “ bosco inglese”. Then between the olive groves you will find the “ viale dei cipressi” which leads the way to the swimming pool, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Siena and its surroundings in the distance.

Every apartment is furnished with its own well equipt kitchen. You will find groceries nearby in San Giovanni (1 km.), Ponte a Bozzone (2 km.), Pianella (5 km.) and Coop , a supermarket on the outskirts of Siena(7km.).

In the surrounding area – within a radius of 4-5 km. – you will also find good and typical restaurants.
